How we're changing Community lives...

Empowerment Programs

At NIDO, our Community Walk Initiative is dedicated to inspiring collective action and unity across Isiolo, Kenya. What begins as a simple walk becomes a powerful platform for dialogue, awareness, and collaboration. The initiative seeks to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to take steps—both literally and figuratively—towards building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities. By raising awareness on key issues that affect daily life, the Community Walk serves as a reminder that progress is best achieved when we move forward together.

This program goes far beyond a single event. Each walk is part of a broader effort to foster healthier lifestyles, encourage social responsibility, and strengthen bonds among families and neighbors. Through these walks, NIDO creates space for meaningful conversations, advocacy, and shared action, laying the foundation for lasting impact in Northern Kenya. With every step taken, participants contribute to a vision of connected communities where hope, health, and unity thrive for generations to come.

Our team successfully organized a walk for a cause, raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene while advocating for the well-being of youngs.
